Always and Forever

A girl saw a boy and knew it was love

He says hello, his voice sweet as a dove

She quietly speaks, yet wondering if it was true

It couldn’t have been, the girl thought she knew

The girl got anxious, if only she would have waited

A few days later, it was love she hated

Everything was blamed on him

The girl thought her chances at love were slim

She wants him to notice

That she wants to be his

Days pass and still he doesn’t see

She wants to say “You belong with me”

Just like that first day, the boy says hello

The girl thinks back to the last time, it sure seems long ago

They talk for a second and he walks away

And of course the girl doesn’t got her way

She wants him to stay and talk

To get to know him, and maybe go for a walk

Instead she sits back and dreams of the day

When he’ll dome to talk and not walk away

Finally the girl realizes that she could be the first to speak

Btu when she tries, she’s to weak

The words get stuck and it ends with a sigh

Then once again he passes by

It begins to feel like nothing can go right

But when she sees him. He’s the only thing in sight

Eventually they may end up together

Maybe for always and forever
